Description:
Responsible for technical aspects of the project which will incorporate innovate designs and sustainable solutions.
Reporting to the Project Operations Director while working alongside Commercial Manager and Construction Manager.
Ensuring all technical duties are undertaken to a high degree. You will manage all technical input and responsible that the build team have accurate information to enable project construction.
First hand technical expertise

Plans, schedules, directs and supervises staff in construction support services, field engineering, technical, and administrative activities of civil construction.
Responsible for construction oversight functions, progress evaluation, schedule and cost control, project coordination, construction support administration, change order control, and data recording and reporting.
Directs construc¬tion oversight staff and field engineering sections in technical and administrative duties.
Reviews method statements, Specifications, shop drawings, survey, design correspondence, permits, utilities, coordinates 3rd parties and interface submittals.
Reviews methods and solutions for complex technical issues and selects the most efficient and economical manner to accomplish the objectives with the Project or Package Manager.
May give independent expert construction engineering advice for execu¬tive action.
Makes frequent interdisciplinary contacts within the project team, and periodically with other client's departments, agencies, and stakeholders involving coordination or important decisions.

Experience Required:
A minimum of 15 years experience, with 10 years in the construction of civil engineering projects in a managerial position.
Previous assignment as FEM of a large civil or building project.
Appropriate experience in airport construction & facilities in hot, dry areas.
Middle Eastern experience is highly desirable.
Graduate from an accredited institution, specializing in a relevant field of study.
