Description:
Principal responsibility will be to implement all existing ES & H systems and procedures on the projects.
Ensure standards are kept and conduct project audits for compliance.
Maintain qualified HSE personnel, in sufficient numbers, to ensure the project is adequately covered
Standardized ES & H practices / procedures should be developed, maintained and implemented at Site and meet ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 requirements.
Provide necessary training to key management for the safe daily conduct of all site personnel and ensure health and environmental awareness.
Prepare & approve project ES & H plans as required by the project.
Carry out internal audits.
Participate and manage Incident /Accident Investigations
Ensure accurate reporting of ES & H Statistics
Maintain and review records of client’s complaints and discuss the preventive action in the immediately following management meeting.
Reporting of status of ES & H objectives.
Prepare budgets for the ES & H function

Experience Required:
Minimum of 20 years experience, with 10 years experience as a professional ES & H Manager.
Previous assignment as ES&H Manager of a large civil engineering or building project.
Appropriate experience in construction in hot, dry areas.
Middle Eastern experience is highly desirable
Graduate from an accredited institution specializing in a relevant field of study.
Requires the ability to deal with Government Environmental departments.
