Delton deliver Remote L&D11 Verification and Internal Quality Assurance to AMEY
Delton were approached by one of the Trainer/Assessors from the Rail Training at Amey Academy.
AMEY works across four continents supplying consultancy services and infrastructure support services.
They work with rail providers and train operating companies to keep their existing assets running as smoothly as possible. These clients include Network Rail, the London Underground and Docklands Light Railway for Transport for London.
They look after things like railway track, overhead lines, signalling systems, power supplies and security systems. They also work on some of the UK’s biggest rail projects like Crossrail and the electrification of the Great Western Main Line. They also inspect nearly all of Network Rail’s assets – like stations and bridges.
The Trainer/Assessor wished to undertake a remote Qualification in Verification/Internal Quality Assurance. We recommended the L&D11 Award – Internally Monitor and Maintain the Quality of Workplace Assessment. This will be a Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) qualification that is internationally recognised. This qualification is being conducted remotely.
